Happy Summer, Spinners and Crafting Friends! Gardeners, too!

It’s time for the Midsummer’s Spin In!

Sponsored by Wren Community Hall & the Chintimini Spinners, NwRSA Area 6045

The Wren Community Hall is reserved for us, Saturday, July 23rd from 9 to 4.

Wren Community Hall 35515 Kings Valley Hwy. (west of Philomath)

A little history: This is the 4th year of this one day, low key and relaxed spin in. Last year we had 35 vendors and over 150 people who visited, pet fiber animals and either spun or watched and learned about spinning. We do this as a fun, non-profit, educational event, not as a fund raiser. Any money left after advertising will be donated to the Wren Community Hall towards their continuing refurbishment of this 1938 Dance Hall. It's a FUN-raiser only.

The music is scheduled courtesy of Bob Bailey, Betsy's husband. (He says 4-5 musicians are coming.)
The food is planned. You will be able to purchase salads and sandwiches from the Kings Valley Caterers Diana Barnhart and Poppy Mitchell.

Vendors of all types of crafts are welcome as well as fiber related products.
10 x 10 Vendor Booths are $35 for inside, which includes a table, chair and electricity. There are only a few spaces left indoors.

10 x 10 (or 12 x 12) Outside Vendors pay $25, but need to bring their own canopy, table and chair.

For the last 2 years, we have enjoyed local produce, too. See Miranda's email address below to contact her to join a market booth.

Vendors need not pay until you arrive, but we would like an accurate count to prepare the area… and advertise!

Vendor Camping: You may camp on the farm (close by) if you would like to set up inside the day before. Facilities available. Outside vendors could set up infrastructure on Friday if they wish, but there’s no security for products to stay outside overnight.

RSVP Lois at lolund@peak.org for a vendor space, or to schedule bringing fiber animals.

RSVP Jane at janeherbst@mac.com to schedule a demonstration.

RSVP Miranda at miranda.r.rommel@gmail.com if you have produce to sell in a Farmer's market type booth.

Chintimini Spinners, please note:
Opportunities to help: Most of the decorations, vendor tables, spinning canopy and animal pens can be set up on Friday before the spin in. Please contact Lois if you have time to help! lolund@peak.org or 541-929-6606.

Spread the word and see you July 23rd!

Love, hugs and happy spinning/crafting/gardening and whatever else floats your boat!
